Pool Shade

Ahhh, the Arizona HOA. If you have one you know they can be challenging. My HOA provide the motivation for this engineering feat. Initially, I was going to have a manually retracting shade structure over my pool. But with some honest ingenuity we made motorizing a reality. Now I push a button and I have 30% shade over my pool for swim time and when we are done with a push of a button it disappears and no complaints from the HOA.
